The Barwon Infant Study (BIS) is a major Australian longitudinal research project led by experts from Barwon Health, Deakin University, and other institutions. The study required a modernised online platform to share findings, support participant engagement, and showcase over a decade of research outcomes.

We designed and developed a new WordPress website that balances academic credibility with community accessibility. The site includes dedicated sections for participants, clinicians, researchers, and the general public—making complex information easy to navigate and understand.

We migrated and restructured a large volume of content, including research publications, team profiles, and participant information. A clean visual design, accessible layouts, and clear calls to action help users find what they need quickly—whether it’s a journal article, a media release, or instructions for taking part in a study follow-up.

The site is responsive, fast-loading, and easy for the BIS team to maintain internally—supporting both ongoing research activity and public engagement.
